I've got the lean meats down pat, the healthy vegetables, but I struggle with the starch portion... I don't care if it's neccessariy low carb, but I would prefer it wasn't a bunch of empty calories... Mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, rice, noodles, etc. Not what I want on the ...

I don't know how common this factor is, but maybe it should be considered. And maybe there are limits of low bmi to some people. Here's several different citations, the first reports from Sweden (in pubmed) and the second from the New York Times.

Ok, so in combination with diet and exercise, i've purchased Met-rx. My plan is to eat one meal a day and use Met-rx twice a day -- three meals. I want to use Met-rx for breakfast and lunch. and then have dinner. What do you all think? has anyone tried Met-rx and what were
