weightwatchers27 May 2007 03:16 GMT1
I recently returned to Weightwatchers after a 15 year break.  I am a
lifetime member and am looking forward to eating healthier and
exercising regularly again.  It's easy to slip into unhealthy habits;
the older I get, I realize it's easier to maintain a positive outlook

We set out this morning on vacation, after dropping our diabetic kitty
off at the vets.  (We have a pet sitter for the other guys.)  We're
taking an easy route up to Providence, so drove only halfway today;
we're spending the night in Spring Lake, NJ.  I'm in vacation eating

Fake Protein Supplements?25 May 2007 17:35 GMT46
Okay, the advice on protein powders is to buy from a company by a
bodybuilder -- Labrada, Dave Draper's Bomber Blend, Dorian Yates
Approved -- since these guys, presumably, wouldn't want to get a bad
reputation for shoddy products.  (How about Gaspari Nutrition, then?
How Much Should You Eat, Anyway?24 May 2007 23:46 GMT2
For loosing one pound of weight we need to cut 3500 calories. So fo
loosing a pound of weight per week, we
should eat 500 calories less than what our body burns per day. Simpl
logic. Isn't it?
Only Natural Weight Loss Will Do!24 May 2007 22:17 GMT1
I dont know about you but i am sick of all the "get thin quick pills"
and diet supplements going around at the moment. Whatever happened to
losing the weight naturally? I am rebelling and I am pushing for
natural weight loss only. (good luck to me........)
Shrink 2" Every 6 Days!!24 May 2007 22:15 GMT2
There is an amino acid that works like a diet pill!  You can
successfully shrink 2 inches every 6 days by eating foods rich in the
amino acid, leucine or by supplementing your diet with leucine.
When people consume at least 3,200 mg. of leucine every day (or at

So I didn't completely fall off the wagon, but over the last few months
I've neglected my weight loss endeavors, and I've gained back a couple
pounds I lost near the end of last year.
I'm getting back on the wagon, I've been able to get my eating records
Food & Exercise -- 5/21/2007 (yesterday)24 May 2007 04:49 GMT3
Yesterday I went to the gym in the morning as usual, then spent the
rest of the day at home.  I did a fair bit of work around the house,
as we're heading out on vacation tomorrow and I wanted to leave a few
things in some semblance of order :-).  Didn't post last night as we

Had a good result this week. It was hard work getting enough exercise while
developing foot pain. I'm hoping it is only a bruised heel and some rest
will make it better. Still maintaining my 1700 a day lifestyle. I went and
saw my sister finish her first half marathon on Sunday. ...
Food & Exercise -- 5/20/200724 May 2007 04:04 GMT9
Went for my usual Sunday morning run.  This evening DH and I went out
for dinner to celebrate his birthday -- to Morton's Steakhouse -- just
got home from there.  Ate and drank too much :-).

Omega-3 lowered my cholesterol...23 May 2007 18:43 GMT14
I had a blood test several years ago and my cholesterol and triglycerides
were very high (I think it was in the mid-200s or something).  I didn't
have enough money to go on statins, then I heard about omega-3 in fish
oil and have been taking about 4-5g a day for the last year.
