| 700 Days | 08 May 2007 13:19 GMT | 24 |
Well, I've been on my diet 700 days now without going off even once. The good news is that I've lost and kept off about 42 kg = 92 lb. Also I feel great and I'm wearing normal clothes sizes, etc. Neighbors often do a double-take and say they didn't recognize me at first.

Today I drove back home from NC. Now that I'm back home, I'm counting on getting back to a more normal eating and exercise routine! (Though there are plenty of special occasions on the schedule :-).) Anyway, today...

| the Fucothin stuff | 06 May 2007 14:11 GMT | 11 |
I have no connection to this product, except as a self-appointed guinea pig. I've been taking Fucothin for about two weeks. It is sold as a thermogenic. My typical body temperature (for years) was around 97.6 on my digital thermometer. Today, my temperature is: 98.7

Another day of too much food and wine. Tomorrow I head home, and I'm actually looking forward to getting back to normal! Today was an easier day than yesterday. I visited only 4 wineries during the day, and they were closer ones than yesterday. I had lunch

I think I put this same date yesterday, but anyway... Today, after breakfast at the B&B where I'm staying, I set out winery visiting. I went to 6 of them -- quite a lot. This evening I walked into town for dinner.

| Great tasting, low cost, low calorie milk | 04 May 2007 21:25 GMT | 10 |
Why does ANYONE buy skim milk?? For half the price, and with much lower calories, and with better taste, they can easily and simply purchase whole milk and mix it with somer water: 1. Whole Milk (3% fat) = 150 calories, $3.50/gallon, great taste.

| Well now! Junonia.surprise... | 04 May 2007 04:18 GMT | 2 |
In my search for a swimsuit that would fit and be reasonably priced, I found one at Junonia.com. It arrived, it fits and the style is fine for the pool. So I am ready to go, once the pool re-opens next week. Which is a good thing, because the plantar fasciitis is not easing up

| Food & Exercise -- 5/1/2007 | 03 May 2007 13:22 GMT | 3 |
Did my usual morning run -- fairly early, as it was a hot day. I didn't go to work at the conservancy as I usually do on Tuesdays because the director was out a funeral and the naturalist is on vacation (and those are the only two people there). I visited the

Spent much of the day driving down to North Carolina for a couple of days of winery visiting. I'm staying in a nice B&B in a small town called Mount Airy, not too far from Winston-Salem. This is in the Yadkin Valley, the principal wine-growing region in North Carolina.
