beans & nuts23 Aug 2007 23:45 GMT3
I'm having difficulty working beans & nuts into my diet. So many calories!
The only way I see it working is to basically make a meal out of like a
half-handful of nuts or a small serving of beans. Are there any low (or
lower) calorie nuts & beans out there? cashews, macadamias, ...

I feel GREAT!  I've just returned home after a 14 mile training walk this

Actually I felt so good today I could have gone further.   I've been
struggling the past few weeks to get fit with shoes that are going to ...

There has been much contention in the scientific field about whether
or not fasting is beneficial to one's health. Fasting is an integral
Trans fat and Partially hydrogenated oils23 Aug 2007 06:30 GMT4
Hello, all.
Some of you may remember me.  My name is David, and I posted here
back in the early part of 2005.  I'm still trying to watch what I
eat, and I exercise regularly.  When I posted here, I was dieting as
The Idiot Proof Diet (modified) progress:22 Aug 2007 22:26 GMT1
High protein sure makes you feel good. I started this yo-yo business of
switching nutrients daily – today was the high protein one and it sure
feels better than the high fat one yesterday. The high fat day is harder
to menu because of keeping saturated fats to a minimum – don’t ...
Alli diet product22 Aug 2007 20:42 GMT1
That Alli weight loss product sure costs a lot. I think it would be less
costly to visit an M.D. and ask for a prescription. Alli is an over the
counter, weaker version of ollisat (generic) or Xenical (brandname.)
Orlisat inhibits absorbsion of about a third of the fat intake, so ...

Are low fat diets dead?22 Aug 2007 06:42 GMT14
I recently heard some proactive defenses of the low fat diet.
These pretty much boiled down to:
1.  Studies "debunking" low fat diets did not look at truly low fat
diets.

Obesity caused by a bacteria ?21 Aug 2007 21:13 GMT1
Obesity caused by a bacteria ?
Yes there is some logic behind this one.  Some scientests have just
found a possible connection to some virus, but the bacterial/parasite
